Vestibular Physiotherapy

Vestibular Physiotherapy is a specialized form of physiotherapy intended to alleviate problems caused by vestibular disorders and concussions, including vertigo, dizziness, vision changes, lightheadedness, imbalance and falls.

Cheryl Wylie is a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Vestibular Physiotherapist. She received her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2010 in Hamilton, Ontario, and prior to this her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario.

She continued her education, completing with success the Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency-Based Course in Atlanta, GA hosted by Emory University and the American Physical Therapy Association.

Cheryl now shares her knowledge and experience by providing online education courses for other healthcare professions both locally and abroad. She is also an instructor on Embodia Inc., one of Canada’s leading online education services.

In her spare time, Cheryl is passionate about sailing and loves the sailing lifestyle. She has sailed close to 10,000nm and travelled to 18 different countries all on her sailboat. Outside of sailing, she loves mountain biking, snowboarding, knitting, and cross-stitch.
